Our 2019 Holiday Gift Guide

The Holidays are quickly approaching and one of our favorite themes for gifts is experiences! Finding kid friendly experiences that the whole family can enjoy makes for the perfect gift this year. Here are a few of our current favorites:

We love the updates the Science Center has made over the last few years. There are so many interactive exhibits that can keep the whole family engaged. Some of our favorite interactive stations include the Water Splash Zone, and the Color and Light Station where little ones can build with Magna-Tiles on the Light Table, design with the biggest Light Brite you’ve ever seen, and explore light and shadow.

My Gym Louisville offers kids birthday parties, Mommy and Me sessions, gymnastics camps and other fantastic fun filled programs for ages 6 weeks – 10 years. The gym is the perfect size to keep little ones excited without being overwhelming.

We may be biased because some of the Bluegrass Doula team are regular participants, but we think Heartland's classes are perfect for parents of infants and toddlers. They offer a huge variety of class times at locations all around the city. The whole family leaves class feeling energized and excited.

We love the classes at Kremer Physical Therapy because they focus on both community building and age appropriate development and health. These fun play groups cover everything from teaching your baby how to enjoy tummy time, to avoiding head shaping, to feeling equipped with ideas to help fussiness, gas, reflux, and constipation. You'll learn typical infant milestone timelines and how and when your baby should hit those milestones, to knowing which devices and toys are safe and ACTUALLY developmentally appropriate for your baby.

Know a family who is expecting this year? Help provide them with an easier transition by purchasing a gift certificate for childbirth education or doula support!
